Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) is a Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and its core mandate is to champion, provide and enable universal access to rights-based Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to vulnerable and underserved communities and to young people. The role of the engagement with RHU and its partners is to ensure that SRHR are respected, protected, and fulfilled as a goal in itself, and as a fundamental means to gender equality, human well-being, and sustainable development.
Knowledge, Skills & Competences
• Knowledge and skills in offering and facilitating integrated Sexual and Reproductive health services delivery.
• Skill in resource mobilization, training, quality of care assessment, supervision, writing, and documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, administration, and motivation skill.
• Ability to organize a multi-task, delivering quality outcomes in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision;
• Skill in mentoring, coaching, and building task-oriented teams.

Responsibilities
Job Role
To provide technical support and guidance to the RHU service delivery division in line with the national and international medical protocols to ensure the provision of rights-based and quality services, and to participate in resource mobilization, in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise and facilitate the effective organization and administration of RHU clinics and other RHU service delivery outlets, ensure quality of care, as well as promote increased financial and service delivery performance.
• Actively support institutional sustainability by contributing to resource mobilization, including sourcing for, and developing fundable programmes and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and support on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) service delivery to RHU management and staff working closely with other members of the RHU team.
• Ensure excellent standards of Clinical Service Care and implement Quality Assurance across the Association.
• Liaise with the RHU Logistics department, and relevant arms of the organization to ensure an uninterrupted flow of quality commodities and supplies at RHU and affiliated service delivery outlets.
• Develop and maintain networks with RHU partners, including international, national, district, and local bodies and other significant stakeholders
• Perform any other professional duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Public Health or related training from an accredited institution.
Details of experience
• Five years of experience in Reproductive Health service Delivery, as well as training and experience in project planning and management.
• Applicants with previous NGO experience will have added advantage.
• Knowledge of current medical and clinical protocols and procedures is a must.
