Job Details:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with clients on a one-to-one basis, group, community or special setting based on their levels of function and severity of disability.
• Provide physiotherapy consultation, support and update about the clients’ progress and status to caregivers and all those involved in the rehabilitation team.
• Evaluate, prescribe and fabricate assistive devices to improve function as required by the clients.
• Training patients and attendants on the use of physiotherapy methods and appliances.
• Evaluates and documents clients’ therapy needs and progress.
• Refer clients to the respective specialists for consultation and appropriate intervention.
• Ensure proper handling of physiotherapy equipment during and after use.
• Provide on-the-job training for physiotherapists, therapy assistants and volunteers.
• Participates in developing and or updating condition specific rehabilitation protocols.

Qualification, Skills and Experience
• A Diploma in Physiotherapy is essential, Or;
• A 3 years’ clinical experience in rehabilitation is desirable.
• Must be registered with Allied Health Professionals’ Council and possess 2021 annual practicing licence.
• Computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation of people with disabilities especially children.
• Knowledge of Protocols of physiotherapy.
