Job Details:
Edukans Education Services is an international non-governmental organization specialized in education and training for underprivileged young people.
Edukans is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will contribute to core business and resource development functions of the organization. Duty station: Kampala but with occasional travels to project sites
Key responsibilities will be:
• Development of Edukans Uganda technical business and country focused resource development strategies;
• Proposal planning, development, and submission;
• Marketing of Edukans' products and programmes, prospecting and strategic prioritization;
• Positioning, relationship cultivation and donor stewardship: and
• Knowledge management and information sharing
Knowledge, Qualifications, and experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Development or Business-related field with Strategic Marketing option.
• A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Professional qualification in organizational development
• At least Seven (7) years of successful relevant experience, 5 of which must be in a senior position.
• Knowledge of project management cycle is desirable. successful working relationships. Marketing experience preferably in development programs and services Ability to multitask in crosscutting organizational roles.
