Job Details:
The janitor will ensure the public spaces such as the wards; patient examination rooms, bathrooms and toilets are clean and well maintained thus reporting any mechanical or technical issues of the facility to the facility crew.
Main Duties:
• Responsible for locking and unlocking the facility early in the morning and in the evening.
• Restocking restroom paper products and toiletries
• Ensuring proper hygiene and neatness of both the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Do seasonal inspection of the facility
• Do minor repairs of damaged things in the facility
• Be cautious and watchful of safety of items in the facility.
Qualifications, skills and experience
• Uganda Certificate of Education.
• Basic knowledge in HIV care
• Speed and accuracy at performing tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work long hours, which may occasionally extend beyond normal working hours in order to complete critical tasks.
• Ability to speak local languages.
