Job Summary:
The Cargo Sales Officer shall work with contracted CSA at the Hub to introduce the cargo product to the market and maintain sales and high standards of service to customers. He/she will also maintain professional internal and external relationships that embody Company’s core values.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Create awareness of all the products and services in the area to magnify market influence and generate future sales.
• Expands existing or current customer base by recognizing and involving Sales Manager.
• Negotiate agreements and resolve potential issues or problems with clients.
• Develop sales network and customer profiling to attain targets and increase revenues, including customers’ visits.
• Implement customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Other administrative tasks may include some required budget assistance and payment processing.
• Strictly follow company guidelines and policies.
• Prepare Sales activities reports such as Sales performance reports.
• Any other duties may be assigned by your line manager.


Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
• A Bachelors’s degree or equivalent in a relevant/related field.
• Professional Certifications will be an added advantage.
• Possession of relevant IATA Certification shall be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Airfreight Sales or sales of fast-moving consumer commodities
• Good knowledge of airline cargo products, regulations, and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Presentation packages.
• Proven experience in airfreight marketing and sales
• Must have good knowledge of air cargo products and Aircraft capacities
• Knowledge of cargo market trends and customer base.
• Must possess general knowledge of cargo operations and procedures
• Strong Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer and presentation skills
