Overview
Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is East Africa's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The Company manufactures antiretrovirals, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTS) and, Hepatitis medicines, to treat HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and Hepatitis respectively.
CiplaQCIL is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated individuals, who are also committed team players to reinforce its capacity by filling the following vacant positions:
Job title: Mechanical Engineer
Reports to the Engineering Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Planning, monitoring, and controlling plant operations, maintenance and documentation
• Planning and supervising mechanical projects; both in house and by contractors
• Planning, supervising of calibration works and validation of systems
• Leading teams in automation and instrumentation project
• Developing project specifications
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of three (03) years demonstrable experience in the field of mechanical engineering in an industrial set up
• Professional Engineers License is an added advantage
