JOB DETAILS:Soroti Fruits Limited (SOFTE) is a fruit processing factory and a subsidiary of Uganda Development Corporation (UDC). The company produces ready to drink fruit juice as well as concentrates from Ugandan fruits notably Oranges and Mangoes. SOFTE invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below;
Title: Sales Representatives
Reports to: Manager Sales & Marketing
Location: Eastern, Northern, Central and Western Region.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representatives will build business in the region by identifying and determine best ways to achieve the set sales targets preparing budgets and sales forecasts;.

Main Duties
• Build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients receipt and accountability tor goods and services.
• Ensure that SOFT E is resourced through an effective and efficient procurement system. mplies with the set regulations and consistent with the
• Ensure that all procurement activities achieve alue
• Any other official duties as may be reasonably and or
• Must be a Certified Accountant with ADCA, CPAU, and member of the ICPAU, having an added
• At least 8 years working in a large organization
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competition
• Sell products by establishing networks and developing relationships with prospects
• Conduct sales visits
• Demonstrate and present products
• Establish new business
• Maintain accurate records tor report generation
• Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
• Review sales performance and achieve sales targets
• Negotiate contracts.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Degree in Sales & Marketing from a reputable institution
• 3 years hands on experience in sales or marketing within FMCG business
• Self-driven personality with demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Proven team player skills
• Ability to meet sales targets
• Strong selling and negotiating skills
• Confident, well spoken
• The ability to write reports and proposals
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Familiarity with the local language of the region
